About Us

ArkansasFracking.org
Thank you for taking the time to stop by.  My name is Emily Lane, and I am the director of ArkansasFracking.org.  I also teach environmental health courses at the University of Central Arkansas.  In March 0f 2011, my brother Sam, his wife, April, and I founded this organization.  As of November, 2014, April and Sam serve as volunteers.

My brother and I were born and raised in Greenbrier, and April in Bee Branch.  We are 6th generation Arkansans that have spent of our lives in the Fayetteville Shale area.  We enjoy camping in our wonderful parks, fishing in our renowned lakes and rivers, and hiking on our unique trails.  We get our drinking water from Greers Ferry Lake.  We love our Razorbacks and are proud Arkansans.  We treat our neighbors like friends and our friends like family.  Plain and simple, we want what is best for Arkansas.

If you have any questions, comments, or want to get involved please email us.  If you suspect that any pollution is occurring anywhere, please contact the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality at (501-682-0744) and then contact us at arfracking@gmail.com or use the form below so we can follow up on their response.  Please help us make sure that our people, environment, and economy are not negatively affected by this new process and industry in Arkansas.
